Hi! I'm Jacob. As perpetual tinkerer, I've held a number of roles ranging from programmer to cloud engineer to application security consultant. Throughout each of these roles, I've found that what I love is problem-solving and architecting solutions, and then seeing those solutions come to life. This site has three main types of content. The first being material and lessons I created while teaching CISC 350 - Information Security at the University of St Thomas. The second are posts about various projects I've worked on (and continue to work on) in my spare time. Lastly, there's several one-off style posts about things like certification's I've completed and other random tidbits that I hope folks find interesting.
I can't promise I'll post super consistently, I do work full time and am completing a second master's degree in the evening, but I'll do my very best to share content as I can.
