The data has been prepped and initial models trained. The results aren’t spectacular so this post covered what was done to try and increase performance, as well as the final results of the project.

Following data exploration, we needed to ensure the data is a usable state and drop any fields that may seem counter-productive to training. This post also covers initial model results and a fix for poor initial performance.

A write up on my group’s final project for SEIS 763 Machine Learning where we created several machine learning models and compared their ability to classify music genres.
